He is survived by: his family, Marianne Oakes (Dan), Harry (Linda), Yolanda Sutherland (Brian) and Ron (Fiona Smith Hale); his grandchildren, Patrick, Christopher Oakes, Paul, Mark, Ian Vandergeest, Sarah, Amanda, Matthew Sutherland, Troy, Jenna Vandergeest, David and Callum Hale; his sister Joyce (London Ont); and his sister-in-law Truus (The Netherlands).
