He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Serena; his parents, Vincenzo Commisso and Maria Commisso; and his siblings, Pietro Commisso (late Angelina), Angelo Commisso (Immaculata), Micheli Commisso (Dorothy) and Rosa Mesiti (late Salvo).

He is survived by: his wife Rosetta; his children, Vince Commisso (Maria), Roberta Commisso, Carmen Commisso (Athina) and Joe Commisso (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Alexa, Ariana, Lukas and Nikolas; and his siblings, Giuseppe Commisso (Roma), Esterina Meleca (Domenico), Domenic Commisso (Maria), Natalina Costa (Domenic) and Franca Mesiti (Giuseppe). He is also survived by many friends and extended family.
