Carmela Morreale Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carmela Morreale (Burlington, Ontario), who passed away on November 20, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Croce Morreale; her parents, Giuseppe Scime and Angela Scime; her parents-in-law, Salvatore and Calogera Morreale; her sister Vincenza; and her siblings-in-law, Vincenzo Matteliano and Rosalia Morreale.
She is survived by: her children, Lillian Cacioppo (Mario), Angela Matteliano (late Salvatore), Rosemary Brum (Victor) and Salvatore Morreale; her grandchildren, Luigi (Samantha), Cristoforo (Katherine), Brock (Andrea), Andre (Tawnya), Mario Jr. (Maxi), Michael, Salvatore (Kendra), Melina (Robert), Chris and Julia; and her sisters-in-law, Antonina Alfano (late Francesco), Maria Cino (late Salvatore), Pietra Restivo (late Carmelo) and Nicolina Romano (late Rosario). She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Burlington - Bay Gardens Cremation, Memorial & Funeral Home (1010 Botanical Dr, Burlington, ON L7T1V1). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Kidney Foundation of Canada, the Alzheimer Society of Canada, or Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
