He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Aspinwall and Georgina Aspinwall; and his siblings, Charles Aspinwall (late Isobel) and Muriel Stone (late Alfred). He is survived by: his spouse Jeanine; his children, Michael Aspinwall, Michelle Hurst and Mark Aspinwall; his grandchildren, Dionne Thomson (David), Ryan Aspinwall (Heather), Mitchell Aspinwall and Matthew Aspinwall; and his great grandchildren, Griffyn, Adeline and Lucy.

As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Barney to SickKids Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
