She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward and Georgina Wilhemina Tyner; her husband Hubert De Caire; her sons, Norman and Jean-Paul; and her grandsons, Mathew De Caire, Andrew De Caire and Nathan Adamson.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn, Suzanne (John), Lorne (Liz), Danny (Louise), Yvonne, Lise (Martin), Chris (Joe), Julie (Hans), Michele (Chris) and Janette (Kelly); and her friend Mary-Jean MacDonald. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Barbara's memory to either of these organizations that held a special place in her heart.
