He was predeceased by: his brothers, Artistides, Manuel, Jorge and Januario. He is survived by: his wife Teresinha (Botelho); his children, Maria Fatima (Werner), Joe (Joannie), Lucy (Steve) and Sandy (Mark); and his sisters, Maria Augusta and Maria De Deus.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Home (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Parish (23 Sheaffe St, Hamilton, ON L8R2N7). An entombment was held on Tuesday, September 3rd 2024 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J1).
