He was predeceased by: his wife Sharron Stasuik (Fearn); his parents, Joseph Labuda and Maria Labuda; his siblings, Joseph, John and Helen; and his granddaughter Becky.

He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Labuda and Cheryl Merigold (Archie); his grandchildren, Jonathan (Brittany), Robert, Carissa Ready (Aaron) and Teressa Joubert (Benoit); his great grandchildren, Nick, Ashley, Joshua, Zachary, David and Mason; his sister Mary; his brother-in-law Matt Farrell; and his niece Linda (Ian).
