She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Hewitt and Thelma Hewitt; and her brothers, Hal Hewitt and Paul Hewitt (Jeannie). She is survived by: her children, Kelly Turner (Ted Wong) and Darrell Ibbitson (Robyn Marttila); her grandchildren, Alyson, Adam and Aaron; and her siblings, Terry Hewitt (Gail) and Jeff Stevenson.
