Leo Gionet Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2021, at the age of 86, Leo Gionet of Burks Falls, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Gionet; and his children, Lionel Gionet and Pierette Caldwell. He is survived by: his close friend Yvonne Cleveland; his children, Joanne Gionet (Murray Caldwell), Denise Arnold (Greg), Mike Gionet (Cindy) and Diane Parkes (Tim); his siblings, Guy (Therese), Ralph of Atholville, NB and Carmen (Henri) of Pointe; and his sister-in-law Auralie Blaquiere of Atholville, NB.. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service to celebrate the life of the late Leo Gionet will be conducted in the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel in Burk's Falls on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 11 a. m. with Doreen Mason DLM officiating.

If desired, in lieu of flowers donations to the Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
