He was predeceased by: his father Jacob Schmidt. He is survived by: his spouse Kelly Schmidt; his son James Peter Schmidt; his daughter-in-law Candace; his grandson Austin Schmidt; his mother Coy Schmidt; and his brothers, Bradley Schmidt (Irena) and Doug Schmidt (Anne). He is also survived by his niece, nephews, extended family and friends.
