It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David Ross Cox of Burks Falls, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 73, on January 8, 2023. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clement Cox and Winifred (Flossy); his siblings, Glenna Jean Cox, Martha Mae Cox, Betty Anne Ditmar, Al Cox, Barb Cole and Eileen Ionson; his mother-in-law Eileen Scanga; and his sister-in-law Barbara Savoia.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his daughter Erin Sawyer (Mike); his stepchildren, Angela Shillolo, Gina Boyd (Jason), Lisa Ewan (Rabb) and Paul Shillolo (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Gavin, Anderson Sawyer, Zachary, Ellawyn Shillolo, Kadin, Sierra Boyd, Enzo and Raven Ewan; his siblings, Shirley, Gord Stone, Gerri and Bill Racknor; his siblings-in-law, Annette, Joe Brunetti, Peter, Theresa Scanga, Franco Savoia and Anthony Scanga; and his nieces and nephews, Randy and Twig McNutt. He is also survived by his adopted daughters, their spouses and their children.
The family would also like to acknowledge both the North Bay and Muskoka Alzheimer's Society for their continuous support through the last chapter of Ross' life. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Oak Lodge on the 3rd Floor of 680 Kirkwood Place, Sudbury Ontario for the exceptional care Ross received.
