She was predeceased by: her son Liam; her grandparents, Andy VanDeWalle, Bob and Dolly Schertzberg; and her uncle Matt VanDeWalle.

She is survived by: her son Leo; her parents, Melanie VanDeWalle (Dave) and Robert Schertzberg; her siblings, Alexis Schertzberg and Neil Kowalsky (Miranda); her grandparent Sandy; her aunts and uncles, Andy, Jon, Susie, David, Cheryle, Mary Shelley, Bill, Linda and Janet; and her nieces and nephews, Cascious and Layla.

As expressions of sympathy donations in Lacey's memory may be made to the Burford Optimist Youth Fund.
