It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merton Roy Hackwell (Brussels, Ontario), who passed away on June 6, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Doreen (Long); his son Jeffrey; and his siblings, Elliott and Claire. He is survived by: his children, Blaine, Merle of Stratford, Craig and Sherri of Thailand; his grandchildren, Chase, Mackenzie, Aidan, Spencer and Oillie; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Long and Audrey Hackwell.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to the Stratford Perth Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
