She was predeceased by: her husband Adam Smith; her parents, Henry Gackstetter and Frances Gackstetter; her brother Henry; her sister-in-law Sandra Gackstetter (Smith); her parents-in-law, Joseph and Laura Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Ann, Ed Steinbach, Doreen, Deb Stewart, Ross Alcock, Louis Thiel and Linda Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Fran, Tim DeBlock, David and Patricia Smith; her grandchildren, Tyler, Ashley, Lanie-Joy, Brandt, Jenna, Shannon, Nathanael, Hannah, Sarah, Joseph, Matthew, Will, Emma, James and Brooklyn; her great grandchildren, Silas, Stella, Callum, Zoey, Aubrey, Jaxon, Boaz, Rilla-May and Zadok; and her siblings-in-law, Bill, Pauline Hetherington, Cora Alcock, Ron Clarkson, Joe Smith and Carol Brandon.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Riverside Funeral Home - Brussels (401 Albert St, Brussels, ON N0G1H0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and as expression of sympathy donations to Huronlea Residents Council or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
