He was predeceased by: his father Bob Thompson; his father-in-law Howard Bernard; and his in-law Gwen Doherty. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Thompson (Bernard); his stepchildren, Shauna Alcorn (Matthew Yuen), Kali Alcorn (Steven Mallett) and Darby Alcorn; his grandchildren, Reed and Penelope; his stepmother Lorraine Storey; his mother-in-law Joan Bernard; his in-laws, Keith, Sharon Doherty, Dianne, David Diehl, Cindy and Harvey Kikkert; and his sisters, Beck Thompson and Deven Thompson. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers and in memory of Jeff, donations to the Bayfield Forgotten Felines or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
