He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Kettles and Grant Kettles; and his brothers, Robert, Richard, Charles and James.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Kettles; his son James (Mary) of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Sarah and Hannah; his son Jon (Kate) of Dallas; and his grandchildren, Cameron and Max.
