He was predeceased by: his brother Harold Hepburn (Anne); and also, Margaret James (Wilfred) and Evelyn Smith. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Judy Winfield (Lyle), Barbara Coleen (Ty) and Janice Gordon (George); his grandchildren, Heather (Stan), Charlotte, Timothy (Nicole) and Jen (Adam); his sister May Francis; and his wife Doreen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
