He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred and Mary; his siblings, Vernon, Raymond, Robert, Joey, Colleen, Jeanette, Lorraine and Grace; and his former wife Audrey Lakins.

He is survived by: his wife Myra; his children, Linda (Steve), Brenda and David; his granddaughters, Patti and Tracy; his great grandchildren, George and June; and his brother Billie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As expressions of sympathy donations to Ontario SPCA Leeds Grenville Animal Center would be greatly appreciated by the family.
