He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Beckstead; his parents, Acil Beckstead and Edna Beckstead; his daughters, Christine Laporte and Roxanne Hamilton; and his siblings, Marion Legault (George), Betty Burrell (Bill) and Ray Beckstead.
He is survived by: his children, Locky Beckstead (Marianne) of Ottawa, Shannon Lepage (Paul) of Ottawa, Shelly Beckstead of Brockville, Kerri Steeves (Kevin) of Brockville, Stacey Beckstead (Bernadette) of Merrickville and Jill Beland (late Norm) of Wawa; and his siblings, Ronald Beckstead of Ingleside, Duane Beckstead (Milly) of Avonmore and Freida Armstrong (late Garry) of Winchester. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
