Sheila Noreen (McKee) Tilson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2024, at the age of 89, Sheila Noreen (McKee) Tilson of Brockville, Ontario, born in Southampton, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Tilson; her granddaughter Laura Elizabeth; her daughter-in-law Denise Twaites; her parents, Phyllis Stewart and Norman McKee; and her grandparents, Phyllis, Norman and Dulice.
She is survived by: her sons, Cameron (Wendy), Dean and Allan (Glenys); her sister Rosemary Duguay (Ray); her grandchildren, Jeffrey (Ashley), Jonathan, Amanda (Dylan), Ryan (Kristin), Emma and Emily (Matt); her great grandchild Sarah; her nephews, Norman and Warren Duguay; her uncle Murray; and also Ricky.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel (4 James St E, Brockville, ON K6V1J9). A reception was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM and from 11:30 PM to 2:00 AM at the Irvine Funeral Home Reception Centre (4 James St E, Brockville, ON K6V1J9). During the Covid pandemic, her ability to go on outings was curtailed and the diagnosis of Parkinson's in 2023 reduced her mobility, but she was determined to stay as active as, possible right up to a few short months ago.
