He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mabel Grant (Lewis), Alfred (Eleanor), Graeme (Erma), Lloyd and Eric (Dot); and his parents, Frederick Fraser and Gladys Fraser.
He is survived by: his wife Frances; his daughters, Patricia Carter (late Grant), Barbara Fraser, Susan Hill and Catherine Blair (Tim); and his sister Muriel Smith (Truro). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care Program or the Brockville and Area Harvest Sharing (food bank) would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
