He was predeceased by: his great-grandparent Robert Gerardus Brinkert. He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, Ingrid Schilstra (Wilfred), Robert Brinkert (Rosalie), Caroline Brinkert (Tim Standen) and Elaine De Kroon (Allen); his grandchildren, Steven Schilstra (Evelyn), Phil Schilstra (Charlene), Emma Macleod (Joe), Leanne Korten (Phil), Sarah Hessels (Calvin), Stephanie Tilstra (Jason), Robyn Sonneveld (TJ), Collin Brinkert, Carina Bos, Calvin Bos, Faith De Kroon and Paige De Kroon; his brothers, Hans and Kees Brinkert (Madeline); and also, Ed, Marrie, Larry Straatsma (Sally) and Ken Straatsma. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In memory of Bob, donations to the Palliative Care unit at BGH would be greatly appreciated, as well as to CAIRN Christian School and Dunnville Christian School, where his great-grandchildren attend.
