Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Orva Mallette in Brockville, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 89, on September 24, 2024. She was predeceased by: her spouse Beaumont Mallette; her grandson Joseph; and her siblings, Audrey (Gordon Hodge), Jim Nowlan (Jean), Forrest Nowlan (Marie Croken), Lorne Nowlan (Joan), Ronald Nowlan (Mae) and Robert Nowlan.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Robinson, Russell Mallette (Kathy), Heather Desjardins and Lorie Burchell (John); her grandchildren, Michael (Sarah), Tammy (Josh), Ryan, Zachary (Kassi), Jean-Claude (Melissa), Alex (Raven), Daniel (Hallie) and Sara; her great grandchildren, Colby, Logan, Ellie-Mae, Emma, Beau, Mason, Matthew, Isaac and Brayden; her daughter Kaarin Aalborg; her sister Una Morrow (late Gareth); and her sister-in-law Susan Nowlan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel (4 James St E, Brockville, ON K6V1J9). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In remembrance, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Lanark Leeds Grenville or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged. Donations are being accepted for: ALZHEIMER SOCIETY OF LANARK COUNTY HEART STROKE FOUNDATION ONTARIO (HEART AND STROKE FOUNDATION OF ONTARIO).
