He was predeceased by: his siblings, Margaret Blanchard (Harold), Ken Henderson (Nora) and Carl Henderson (Bonnie); and his parents, Roy and Muriel.

He is survived by: his wife Carol; his sons, John Henderson, David Henderson, Scott Pyke and Steven Pyke (Sharon); his grandchildren, Brad Henderson (Debrah Burke), Laura Henderson (Nate Peters), Audrey Henderson, Roy Hendeson (Taylor Rohr) and Taylor Pyke; his sister Janice Sloan (Bill); and his sister-in-law Bonnie Henderson (Lois Henderson).
