Lorraine Tyssen Obituary

Entered into rest on Thursday, November 16th, 2023, at the age of 85 years at the Brockville General Hospital. Lorraine Luella Tyssen was the beloved mother of Evelyn Campbell (Dave), Billy Hart, Theresa Buddin (Tim) and Sheila Denesha (Hal), proud grandmother of Valerie, Jenny, Shawn, Natasha, Sara, Donnie, Daniel, Stephanie and Joseph. Dear sister of Mereland Casselman, also survived by her lifelong loving partner Larry Parnell. Lorraine will be missed by her many great grandchildren and friends. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents Harvey and Florence Pyke, her twin brother Lloyd Pyke, her sister Clara Summers and her husband Edward Tyssen.

In the comforting embrace of faith, we celebrate and honor the life of a remarkable woman, our mother, Lorraine Luella Tyssen. Her journey on Earth was a testament to the profound life lessons she embodied and imparted, her unyielding passion for life, and the kind, free-spirited individual she was. Our mother's life was a canvas painted with the vibrant colors of her faith, hope, and love. She was a woman whose spirit was as free as the birds that soar above, yet as grounded as the ancient trees that stand tall and unwavering.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Monday, Nov 20th, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St E. Brockville, Ontario. A private family interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery will be held at a later date. If friends so desire donations in Lorraine's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
