She was predeceased by: her parents, Norma Nuttall and Tom Towler; and her husband Roland Powell. She is survived by: her son Stephen Powell (Kim Yocum); her granddaughters, Makayla Powell (Brandon Beaudin), Samantha Yocum and Nicole Maurice (Geoff); her great grandchildren, William, Nash Beaudin, Olivia and Nory Maurice; her sisters, Sandra Cooke and Dianne Pakeman (Ted); and her sisters-in-law, Susan Hanna and Doris Hogaboom (Danny). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Memorial donations to the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care Unit or the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.
