We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2023, at the age of 102, Lillian Burns (Brockville, Ontario), born in Maniwaki, Québec passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert McClelland and Edith McClelland; her husband Robert Mansel Burns; her son Allan Burns; and her siblings, Norma Bolin (Stuart), Jean Lockhead (Joe) and Frederick McClelland (Freda).
She is survived by: her children, Fay Agopsowicz (late Leon), David Burns (Martha) and Jane Burns; her grandchildren, Jamie Scace (Linda), Matthew Burns, Kyle Burns, Thomas Burns (Kiersten), Jacqueline Quesnel (Sidney) and Andrea Hamsik (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Jessie Scace, Sam Scace, Greyson Burns, Milo Burns, Jack Hamsik, Eleanore Burns and Jordyn Bascoe; her stepgrandchildren, Kate, Geoff (Kylie) and Dani McKenna (Wil); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Izaac, Ronan and Gabriel McKenna. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and the rest of her large extended family.
For 26 years, she was an employee of Burnbrae Farms, and also served on the board of the Hudson Burnbrae Foundation for many years.
