He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Riddell and Doris Riddell (Poole); and his aunts and uncles, Donald Poole, Ruth Barratt-Kenworthy, Betty Ennis and Edwin Riddell.

He is survived by: his siblings, Charles (Bernadette) of Slave Lake, AB, Donald (Sharon) of Slave Lake, AB, David of Cornwall and Shawn (Bonnie) of Brockville; his nieces and nephews, Michelle, Kenny, Christy Lynn, Gary, Kaylene, Jennelle, Richard and Rebecca; and his aunts, Barbara Lang (Jack) and Donna Stanistreet (Bob).
