He was predeceased by: his wife Sara Lange (Steketee); his parents, Erich Lange and Martha Lange; and his siblings, Werner, Wolfgang and Gertrude.

He is survived by: his daughters, Joanne Chisamore (Randy) and Helga Lange (Paul Chenier); his brother Egon (Valai); and his grandchildren, Hanna, Madeleine (Connor) and Samuel.
