He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Doreen Rauscher; his parents, John and Friederike; his brother Kurt; his sister-in-law Barbara; and his granddaughter Jackie.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Craig; his brother Fred (Britta); his children, Joanne, Doreen (Mark), Theresa (Craig), Carla and John; his grandchildren, Morgan, Lucas, Logan, Ryan, Jordan, Ashley, Jake, Tracy and Amy; and his close friend Gale Sprigings. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great grandchildren and cherished friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care Program or the Canadian Cancer Society.
