He was predeceased by: his parents, Lor Leip and Agnes Lor; his grandfather Joe; and his sisters, Mae Ting and Valerie.

He is survived by: his daughter Susan Sly (Chris Arkeveld); his grandchildren, AJ, Sarai and Emery; his child Tisha Nolan of Brockville; his sisters, Ruth, Alice and Gloria; and his nieces and nephews, Judy, Michael, Jim, Madeline Hope, Theresa Chung, Stephen, Karen Ho, Tanya Lor, John Gallo, Ian Mah, Linda and Tierro Malloy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The United Way of Leeds Grenville and Impact Malawi.
