He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Snelson and Mabel Snelson; his sister Linda Johnson; and his brother-in-law Harold Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Tom Gunner Witso (Louise) and Ole Nicholas Witso; his grandchildren, Henrik, Benjamin (Benji), Daniel and Erica; his sister Carol Running (Carl) of Brockville; the mother of his children Gunn Witso; and his niece Aimee Snelson.
