He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald and Effie May. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Van-Hyning; his children, Nicole (Jon), Curtis and Kory (Jes); and his siblings, Paul (Betty), Pat (Kim), Emily, Brenda and Kim (Bruce). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (2451 County Rd 15, Maitland, ON K0E1P0). A reception will be held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prescott Legion (141 Henry St W, Prescott, ON K0E1T0).

As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
