She was predeceased by: her husband John Gerritsen; her parents, James Beckstead and Loretta Beckstead; and her siblings, Mary Wing, Marion Frelich and Matthew Beckstead.

She is survived by: her son Mark John Gerritsen; and her brother Paul Beckstead. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
