He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Pettem and Lloyd Pettem; and his siblings, Don Pettem and Shirley Gardiner. He is survived by: his spouse Olene Pettem; his grandchildren, Brad (Lindsay), Brooke (Trevor), Steve (Sarah), Brandy (Jon), Jenn (Jeremy) and Matt (Abbey); his great grandchildren, Denali, Ben, Dallas, Ellie, Sully, Aiden, Scarlett and Mila; and his brothers, Ralph Pettem (Donna) and David Pettem (Susan).
