He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Dunn and Dorothy Dunn; and his father-in-law Charles Baker. He is survived by: his wife Dixielea; his children, Andrew (Amy Dafoe) and Kimberly (Vincent Deslauriers); his sisters, Nancy Reabel (Archie), Beth Fricke (Steve), Darlene Lowe (Michael Stork) and Debbie Hoare (Mark Leggo); and his mother-in-law Muriel Baker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute, the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation, or a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated.
