He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Matilda Thompson and Joseph Alexander Wright; and his siblings, Hazel (Bob Cornel), Barbara (Al Harper), Nelson Wright (Leona), Larry Wright (Shelly) and Bob Wright (Marion).
He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth Norris; his sons, Bradley and Brian Wright; his wife Karen Filion; his stepdaughter Julie Anderson; his stepgrandson Levi; his stepsons, Michael Anderson (Penny) and Christopher Anderson (Carrie); his daughter Deborah Wright (Bill Snodgrass); his sister-in-law Marion Wright; his nieces and nephews, Leslie, Beth, Sandy, Douglas Harper, Joe Wright, Franca Wright, Steven Wright and Amy Wright; his grandchildren, Sarah Taylor (Jason), Mary Snodgrass, Seth Wright and Kurtis Wright; and his close friend Jeff. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
