She was predeceased by: her husband Raffaele Farella; her parents, Thomaso Beato and Domenica Beato; her stepmother Caterina Rotundo; her daughter Domenica Farella; her brothers, Gennaro Beato (Ninetta), Martino Beato (Angelina) and Francesco Beato (Lena); and her stepsister Domenica Beato.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Shipman (Bill), Joe Farella (Claire) and Catherine Ashton (Rob); her grandchildren, Ryan, Casey Shipman, Christopher Stewart, Jamie, Dylan Ashton, Joanna Farella and Sarah Roden; her great grandchildren, Domenic Stewart, Cyra and Rustom Shipman; and her stepsisters, Antonella Perfetto (Joe), Maria Lopane (Angelo), Isabella Lastoria (Tony) and Franca Dal Monta (Michaela).

As expressions of sympathy, donation to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care would be gratefully acknowledged.
