He was predeceased by: his brothers, Frank Slowey (Alison) and Jim Slowey (Carol) of Texas; and his parents, Francis Slowey and Margaret Slowey. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Patricia Slowey; his daughters, Jacqueline Gagnon (Robert) of Stittsville and Kathleen (Terry) of Greenbush; his grandchildren, Emily, Nicholas (Nick) and Sarah; his siblings, Irene Hepburn (Ian) of Seattle, Washington, Kevin Slowey (June) of Aberdeenshire and Margaret Livingstone (late Dave) of New Zealand; and his pet Minka.
