Gerrit Westervelt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2022, at the age of 93, Gerrit Westervelt of Brinston, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Johanna Westervelt; his son Gerald; his grandsons, Christian Henry and Bryce Justin; his siblings, Gerrie Ebbers, Johan, Jan, Henry and Bertus; and his parents-in-law, Arie Geurkink (Janny), Henry Geurkink (Jessie) and Grace Kolff (James).
He is survived by: his children, Evelyn VanStarkenburg (Gerald) of Pembroke, Margaret Westervelt of Brinston, John (Jana) of Brinston, Martin (Trudy) of Brinston and Calvin (Sheila) of Grand Rapids, Michigan.; his daughter-in-law Pam Westervelt of Brinston; his siblings, Riek Heinen (late John) of Grimsby and Bertha Heinen (late Bennie) of Holland; and his siblings-in-law, Riek Westervelt of Holland and John Geurkink (late Coral) of Iroquois. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
