“To Shannon’s family and all of her loved ones, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Shannon was a friend of mine in high school. I had never met anyone who had such talent, such conviction, such drive, and was so sure of who she was. Although we weren’t close friends, we did stay in touch over social media. I loved seeing how happy she was, and that she was living such a beautiful life. All of her family and friends are in my thoughts.”
