He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack LaFortune and Mary Alice LaFortune (Lucas); and his wife Lorna Anne LaFortune (Lawson). He is survived by: his children, Gordon LaFortune (Laura) of Toronto, Lori Der-Hacopian of Virginia, USA and Shari LaFortune of Brighton; and his grandchildren, Rachel, Michelle, Tim and Nick.
