Rene MacDonald Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rene MacDonald (Brighton, Ontario), who passed away on January 23, 2022 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel James MacDonald (Jim); her parents, Sidney Pougnet and Jean Law; and her siblings, Nora, Sidney, John, Douglas and Charlie.
She is survived by: her sister Betty Burman; and her sons, Michael (Judy), Michigan, Jim (Pat), David (Susan), Richmond Hill, Ted (Ellen) of London, UK, Doug (Carol) and Trenton. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid restrictions, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, Trenton on Saturday, January 29th, 2022 at 11:00a. m. A livestream of the Mass will be available to watch on the funeral home website under Rene's page. A Celebration of Rene's life will be held at a later date (Date and time to be announced) when current restrictions are not in place.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the TMH Foundation or Hospice Quinte would be appreciated by the family.
