Maria Heslinga Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Heslinga (Brighton, Ontario), who passed away on July 18, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Westerveld and Renske Westerveld (Buma); and her siblings, Jan, Joop and Alice.

She is survived by: her spouse Klaas Heslinga; her children, Gerben 'Ben' Heslinga (Michele Houle) of Kemptville, John Heslinga (Deb) of Campbellford and Renita Wood (Mark) of Burlington; and her brothers, Abe Westerveld (Pat), Harry Westerveld (Stella) and Leo Westerveld (late Nancy Westerveld). She is also survived by her four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to The Bridge Hospice Warkworth, (thebridgehospice.com), would be appreciated by the family.
