He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Powers and Gladys Powers; his wife Georgette Powers; and his siblings, Allison, Pat, Marlene and Rena.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Powers (Audrey) of Brighton and Joan Payne (late Louis) of Terrace, BC.; his grandchildren, Marlowe, Michael, Jeffrey, Nathan and Kyle; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Miki and Zach.
