He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleworth Mills and Ida (Tinson); his siblings, Eleanor Martin and Jimmy Mills; and also Elsie "Marie" (Simpson).

He is survived by: his spouse Annette "Marie" (Anderson); his children, Allan "Skip" Mills of Brighton, Kendra Ashwood (Jim Peters) of Colborne and Lynne Ashwood of Colborne; and his sibling Sidney Mills (Dianne) of Ennismore. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and his many nieces and nephews.
