It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Katherine Leslie Hand-Levesque of Brighton, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 79, on January 11, 2025. In the vast expanse of eternity, Katherine shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Katherine farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilda and John; her sister-in-law Madeline Shaw Hand; and her brother John. She is survived by: her husband Marcel; her brother Stephen Hand (Linda); and her pets, Maxwell, Eugene and Ebony.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rushnell Funeral Homes - Brighton (130 Main St, Brighton, ON K0K1H0). A burial will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at the Paroisse Saint-Lambert (41 Av. Lorne, Saint-Lambert, QC J4P2G7).
