He is survived by: his friend Jesus; and his grandchildren, Arend Getkate, Rachael Pearson (Scott), Adam Vos (Jill), Tarah Stokes, Samantha Ray, Jacob Schaly, Johanna Schaly, Erica Schaly, Ryan Eckhoff (Whitney), Nathan Eckhoff, Christopher Ebbers and Emily Ebbers.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Henk's lifelong love of learning, if desired, donations may be made to one of the local Christian Schools (Belleville District Christian School, Trenton Christian School, Quinte Christian High School) or to the Brighton Public Library.
