He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Steacy and Iva Steacy (Gifford). He is survived by: his wife Lenore Steacy (Whaley); his children, Cindy (Steacy), Tanya Steacy, Deb Lewis (Rian) and Brad Steacy; his sister Linda (Steacy) Payne (Jim); and also Carman Goodrich.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Rushnell Funeral Homes - Brighton (130 Main St, Brighton, ON K0K1H0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Rushnell Funeral Homes – Brighton Chapel (130 Main St, Brighton, ON K0K1H0).
