He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Thayer Raney; his children, Paul Chatten (Laurie), Sandra Hay and Jeff Chatten (Kathy); his grandchildren, Emily Chatten, Melanie Chatten, Laurence Hay, Fraser Hay, Lindsay Chatten (Derrick) and Jessica Chatten; his great grandchild Jace Abbott; and his siblings, Don, Neil Chatten and Marie Harnden.
